This is a new thread to enable any off topic discussions, video links, smiling faces and other things which make us social animals. Deeply inside I hope this corner will help to move some of the off topics items from the other threads, but in reality, I have my doubts :)

Well thank you. To be honest, I have to admit that somebody else suggested an off topic thread and after thinking about it I agreed to it. I am glad you like it. On the other hand, nobody knows how it is going to work out. I’ve seen all kinds of things happening in “coffee houses” ie spilled coffee, cake wars and shouting matches over politics to name just few :) So have fun, everybody.

    For your enjoyment.

    Meditations on the name Batawe

Bat away – hit (the ball) hard and enjoy it
Bat are we – are we creatures flying in the dark?
Butt away – ram heads together and enjoy it
Butt away – get your backside away from me
Butt are we – Are we the butt of the joke?
But are we – Well are we?
Butter way – the sweet but slippery path
But away – time to go.

    NB
Is this meditation evidence that the author of this post has a mental health problem?

Any mental health problem can be cured by using a powerful healing mantra from a real master. So in a way you are on a good track. I am just not sure about the powerfulness of a “butt - the way” mantra and master going with it. But listen, I’ve been wrong before, so it’s up to you.

Butterfly flies around the buttered-butt, but swiftly the butt butts-away with the buttercut the flying-butt-of-the-butterfly's-butt, both butting-away the butt's-butt with the butter on the butt - it (the butt) butt-saying to the butterfly: "Now butt away, O Butt of the butterfly's butt, butting on my buttered-butt in such a butter-fly-(a)way!" ;))

...yes, but there is always but(t)!

does it sound familiar to anyone?;))

    there must be butt somewhere...

    p.s.
don't worry about mental health problem, just enjoy the batawian 'meditations'; welcome to the club of doubtful butt...if anyone here doesn't doubt, than s/he's probably enlightened (good for her/him)...now let's respect the butt; if sanskrt dictum goes: Om Tat Sat...and U.G. Krishnamurti says: Om Tat Sh..t, than with the butt-er-fly's authority, we can say: Om Tat Butt!;)))

    Meditation on Belief

    self 2 asks Self 1:
What is it I believe in?

    Self 1 replies:
Yes, what is it you believe in? Perhaps you believe in Utopia or Disneyland?

    self 2:
Utopia is not even real in the dreams of the dreamer.
And Disney’s land of white and gold light is balanced each night by the darkness.

    Self 1:
Then perhaps you believe in God?

    self 2:
I have no idea what God is really.

    Self 1:
Well then, what is it you believe in?

    self 2:
Perhaps i believe in that which stirs in my heart when i ask “What is God?”,
That which stirs in my heart when i listen to the morning birds,
That which stirs in my heart when i watch a baby smile,
That which stirs in my heart when i sit.
    But what is that?

    Self 1:
Well, it is so very clear, I don’t understand why you are so troubled and perplexed.
    You believe in
    stirring.

"After months of planning and technical preparation, Norwegian state broadcaster NRK was ready to “go live” Thursday night with its marathon coverage of a Hurtigruten voyage from Bergen north to the line’s turnaround point in Kirkenes. Viewers will be able to follow every minute of the trip on NRK’s channel 2, until it ends on Wednesday morning."

@truthseeker: thx truthseeker;)),,great monty python; I had a nice laugh...hegel and nietzsche, socrates and karl marx, et alii.;))))...great!

I mean, the dynamics of the game was so pressuring, I couldn't breath for like half a minute;))

I would definitely buy the DVD if it lasted for an hour with their own comments on the strategy of the game;)))
